YouTube to MP3 - source audio, not a re-encode
YouTube audio.Highest bitrate, untouched.
A converter cannot invent quality that the upload never contained. This one reads the best audio track YouTube published for the video, keeps its original bitrate, and hands you an audio file in a single pass - so what you hear is the master, not a second-generation transcode.

How it works
Highest bitrate, untouched. in two steps
Paste a video, Short or music upload
Any watch link, youtu.be share link or /shorts/ URL works, including long DJ sets and hour-long podcasts. The resolver lists every audio stream the video exposes and ranks them by real bitrate rather than by container name.
Take the top audio track, not a transcoded copy
Your save starts from the highest-bitrate audio stream available - often 128 to 256 kbps AAC, sometimes Opus at a higher rate - and is written straight out. Nothing is decoded and re-encoded, so there is no extra generation of loss between YouTube and your device.
Highest bitrate, untouched. FAQ
Do I really get 320 kbps MP3?
Only if the upload itself carries audio near that rate, which is rare: YouTube normally publishes 128 to 256 kbps AAC or Opus. Sites that promise a flat 320 kbps are padding a lower-bitrate source, which adds file size and no detail. This tool keeps the real rate and tells you the size it produced.
Does converting to MP3 lose quality?
Any conversion to MP3 is lossy, so this page does the least possible: it takes the best published audio track and writes it out once. There is no decode-and-re-encode step, so you avoid the audible smearing that comes from converting an already-compressed stream twice.
Can I extract audio from a Short or a music video?
Yes. Shorts, standard uploads and music videos all expose an audio track, and the resolver treats them the same way. Very long uploads stream in chunks so the conversion does not fail halfway through.
Is the MP3 watermarked or trimmed?
No watermark and no fade or trim are added. You get the audio track as published, from the first second to the last, saved under the video's title so it stays findable in your music folder.
Do I need to install anything?
No app, account or extension. The conversion runs in the browser on Android, iPhone, Windows, Mac and Linux, and the free Android app is optional if you would rather use a share-sheet shortcut.
